Experience
Throughout my academic and professional journey, I’ve gained hands-on experience in engineering, project management, and advanced manufacturing. My work spans from coordinating lab operations and conducting research to contributing to large-scale industry projects. Each role has sharpened my technical skills and deepened my understanding of systems optimization and effective teamwork.

Terrapin Works Lab Coordinator
University of Maryland
February 2022 - Present
As Lab Coordinator, I managed the day-to-day operations of the Terrapin Works labs, leading a team of 25-30 staff members. My role included interviewing and training new hires, ensuring machine availability, and improving operational efficiency. I developed cost engineering models to streamline pricing and quoting, making 3D printing accessible to students and faculty. This experience enhanced my skills in lab management, machine maintenance, and cost optimization.

Independent Study Researcher
University of Maryland - Under Dr. Davis McGregor
August 2024 - Present
In my independent study, I research advanced metrology, smart manufacturing, and computational geometry. My work involves creating 3D models to train machine learning algorithms that predict the quality of 3D-printed electrical connectors. Using SLA resin printers, I develop precise components and run experiments to assess reliability, with a focus on part validation and predictive accuracy for diverse industry applications.

Global Projects Intern
ExxonMobil
May 2024 - August 2024
During my internship with ExxonMobil's Global Projects team, I collaborated on the design and optimization of large-scale heat exchangers for a new chemical plant. This project centered on improving plant efficiency and reducing carbon emissions. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, I gained valuable skills in industrial design and large-scale project management.

Systems and Test Engineering Intern
Northrop Grumman
May 2023 - August 2023
At Northrop Grumman, I developed a digital testing database using MS Access, Python, and VBA, which improved accessibility for test procedure analysis. I also implemented a Jira Agile board to track digital testing items, simplifying project management for engineering teams. This role gave me hands-on experience in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and testing procedures.

FIRST Robotics Mentor and Former Team Captain
FRC Team 2199 Robo Lions
August 2016 - June 2021
As a mentor and former team captain, I guided the Robo Lions FRC team and led outreach initiatives to local schools, teaching thousands of students about STEM and robotics. This role allowed me to give back to my community while fostering technical skills and promoting interest in engineering among younger students.
